U Dance Studio provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere with professional dance instruction to set the scene for students to reach their personal bests. Our staff is comprised of incredible professionals who have and continue to thrive in the St. Louis dance community. All of our instructors thrive on the ability to share their love of dance with their students of all ages and levels. We pride ourselves on providing age appropriate instruction, to age appropriate music and choreography. Our program ensures that students are physically and mentally ready to learn proper dance habits and correctly execute technique in each style of dance. We offer classes in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary (6th grade and above), poms, hip hop, and pointe. We also have a competitive dance team, the Powerhouse Production Competition Team who competes in three dance competitions per season. You will find class options for dancers ages 2.5 (must be potty trained) to 18. Whether you are a seasoned vet or novice, we offer classes for every level with teachers who are experienced in providing the proper education and instruction in the art of dance.

U Dance Studio’s owner Emily Uzzetta, better known as Miss Emily by her students, lives locally and has been instructing dance for over 15 years. A little history on Miss Emily’s dance background; she started at a young age and danced through high school at local dance studio, Dance Elite. In college, Miss Emily danced professionally as a cheerleader for the St. Louis Ram’s NFL team. Teaching has been the highlight of Miss Emily’s dance career. “Seeing my students light up when they accomplish a new skill is incredibly motivating and rewarding. Being able to share that love, knowledge, and passion of dance is beyond. The dance community plays an important role in children’s lives, beyond becoming a skillful athlete, it fosters solid friendships, builds confidence and makes memories that last a lifetime.”
